As a freshman at Florida, Tebow served as the backup to starting quarterback Chris Leak and played a key role in the team's national championship season. As a sophomore, Tebow broke NCAA records while scoring 55 touchdowns and became the first sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy. He led the Gators to another national championship in his junior year and finished third in the Heisman race despite receiving the most first place votes. His senior year fell short of a national championship as the Gators lost to eventual BCS champion Alabama in the SEC Championship game. Tebow did end his college career a winner setting BCS bowl game records in the Sugar Bowl against an overmatched Cincinnati.

Bears coach John Fox isn't a QB expert, but he manages them well
Jake Delhomme's work day usually started before sunrise. The Panthers quarterback from 2003-09 would pull into team headquarters around 6 a.m. and grab a cup of coffee, maybe loosen up in the hot tub. Then he'd settle into the film room to continue...

Ohio State's Cardale Jones has done a lot of growing up
What Ohio State is attempting to pull off Monday night is, quite frankly, ridiculous. The Buckeyes have not merely advanced to the first College Football Playoff title game with a third-string quarterback. They actually think they can win it with a...

John Fox right man for Bears' rebuilding job

Bears found their Joe Maddon in John Fox
Our kind of guy, for our kind of town. That's what John Fox is to me. I think of him as the Joe Maddon of the NFL. He's an older, wiser coach who somehow fell into our laps. By the way, Joe Maddon and John Fox are just one year apart (Maddon is 60,...

Other than age gap with new GM, John Fox seems solid fit with Bears
After hearing John Elway explain his side of the divorce from John Fox on Tuesday in Denver, it's apparent the Broncos vice president isn't interested in AFC West titles. Fox led the Broncos to four consecutive division crowns but it's Super Bowl or...

Psst, Ryan Pace: John Fox same kind of coach who got Phil Emery fired
Ryan Pace’s predecessor got fired in part because he had Bruce Arians in Halas Hall and let him walk away to 10- and 11-win seasons with a playoff appearance in Arizona. No, Phil Emery didn’t let Arians walk. He flat rejected him. Emery...
