The offensive role of Ravens wide receiver Deonte Thompson has diminished every week since he caught a career-high four passes for 50 yards against the Buffalo Bills in late September.
The speedster didn’t play a snap offensively against the Pittsburgh Steelers and was limited to special teams. He struggled on outside containment on a late kickoff return that led to the game-winning field goal.
Thompson caught just two passes for 11 yards Oct. 5 against the Miami Dolphins and caught no passes against the Green Bay Packers as he played just one snap offensively.
