On The Fly: Nothing But The Best When PGA Tees Off

The world's best golfers gather this week at Quail Hollow in Charlotte, N.C., for the PGA Championship, which, as usual, has taken a condensed star power approach to its first- and second-round pairings. The year's fourth and final major has the winners of the first three in the group teeing off together at 8:25 a.m. Thursday from the 10th tee — Sergio Garcia (Masters), Brooks Koepka (U.S. Open) and Jordan Spieth (British Open). That group is followed by Jason Day, Dustin Johnson and Henrik Stenson — all major champions. Spieth, 24, is looking to complete the career grand slam. He was runner-up to Day at the 2015 PGA.
