Ray McDonald charged with domestic violence in May clash with ex-fianc�e, infant

SANTA CLARA, Calif. Former San Francisco 49er defensive lineman Ray McDonald, whose repeated allegations of violence against women effectively cost him his NFL career, has been charged with felony domestic violence from a May clash with his ex-fiancee and their infant son at a Santa Clara apartment. Prosecutors on Thursday charged the 30-year-old McDonald with felony false imprisonment and misdemeanor counts of domestic violence, child endangerment and violating a protective order. He is set to be arraigned Thursday afternoon and faces up to three years in prison if convicted.
