The Miami Dolphins have released tailback Raheem Mostert from their 53-man roster, Mostert's agent wrote on Twitter. Mostert, who was being used as a kickoff returner, was claimed off the Philadelphia Eagles' practice squad in Week 2. He played that week against Jacksonville but hasn't been on the active roster for the past two games. Mostert's agent Brett Tessler also tweeted that it is likely his client will be signed to the Dolphins' practice squad if he clears waivers. Damien Williams will likely handle the Dolphins' kickoff returns going forward, and Jarvis Landry will continue to handle punt return duties.
