Bears NFL draft preview: Running backs

As the NFL draft nears we're taking an 11-day, position-by-position look at what's out there and what the Bears need. Bears status Running back Matt Forte arguably was snubbed for the Pro Bowl in 2014. His 1,846 yards from scrimmage and 368 touches each ranked third in the NFL. Although his 102 receptions, an NFL single-season record for a running back, were a function of a broken passing game, that shouldn't detract from Forte's contributions. Ka'Deem Carey, last year's fourth-round pick, remains an unknown after averaging 4.4 yards on only 36 carries. The Bears signed diminutive speedster Jacquizz Rodgers in free agency.
