Orlando ready to approve 5-year contract for Cure Bowl

The Cure Bowl will become the latest tenant of the renovated Citrus Bowl on Monday, when the Orlando City Council is expected to approve an agreement that would keep the bowl game here at least the next five seasons. The deal calls for the city to receive all parking revenue and 60 percent of concession sales, as well as a $25,000 annual game-day fee in the first three years, which could escalate in the final two years, depending on attendance. Orlando's venues division estimated the deal will bring the city about $625,000 through 2019.
