Boys Indoor Track: Weaver's Doyley Looks To Join Top Sprinters In Nation

Weaver's Mark Doyley finished his junior season at the Hartford school as the New England champion in the 55-, 100- and 200-meter dashes. Still, he wasn't content.

Doyley, who ran the 55 last winter in 6.28 seconds for the sixth fastest time in the country, has set his sights on a more ambitious goal this track and field season.

"He wants to be No. 1 in the country," Weaver coach Andre Shreeves said Sunday. "He knows it is his last year. He's more anxious to run a fast time. He believes in himself."
