Four Bears rookies make big plays for defense

The Bears did some of their best work in the shadow of their own goal line Monday night at MetLife Stadium and that is the biggest reason they were able to come away with a 27-19 victory.

The Jets reached the red zone on six of their 11 possessions and ran 17 of their 72 snaps (24 percent) within 20 yards of the end zone but totaled only 16 points on those drives, the difference in a game that could have been lopsided if quarterback Geno Smith had found a way to get in the end zone multiple times.
