Kiel Has Found Perfect Spot In Cincy; UConn Faces Him Oct. 24

NEWPORT, R.I. — After two years away from the sport he loves, Gunner Kiel was eager to play football last fall. Kiel was the starting quarterback for the Cincinnati Bearcats in 2014 after sitting out a year following a transfer from Notre Dame. At Notre Dame, he spent the 2012 season as a redshirt freshman. The player who was once the most highly recruited high school quarterback in the country finally got an opportunity to play college football.
