Former NFL WR Ken Knapczyk is Poinciana's new head football coach. Knapczyk, who played in three games for the Chicago Bears in 1987, coached at Clermont East Ridge in 2013 and previously at Fort Myers Gateway Charter. He also has experience as a college head coach and assistant. He will replace Jeff Mathis as the fourth coach in five years for a struggling Poinciana program that went 1-9 last season. The Eagles have an all-time record of 40-179.
