    PITTSBURGH He has been to three Super Bowls, and on the winning team twice, as the backup quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers. But what really makes Charlie Batch happy is the success of his foundation, Best of the Batch. It grew out of tragedy his sister's killing in a gang shootout in his hometown of Homestead, Pa., while he was attending Eastern Michigan University. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in 1998 and spent 11 years with the Steelers. He currently provides game commentary on several TV networks and holds an annual fundraiser for the foundation.
