The New Orleans Saints made 12-time Pro Bowl cornerback Champ Bailey one of their preseason roster cuts Saturday.
Bailey struggled because of a foot injury and played sparingly in the last two games of the preseason.
Bailey said after the Super Bowl that he wouldn't retire "because I still know I can play this game."
Only seven players in NFL history have more Pro Bowl selections than Bailey, who signed with the Saints after his release from the Denver Broncos in the spring.
The Buffalo Bills signed quarterback Kyle Orton to back up second-year starter EJ Manuel.
