Regional Digest: Washburn Gets Double Duty As Trinity Assistant

Summer Washburn has been named an assistant field hockey and women's lacrosse coach at Trinity College, the school announced Sunday. She was a standout in both sports for Salisbury University in Maryland. She was a two-year captain for the field hockey team and won an NCAA championship in 2012 as a member of the Salisbury women's lacrosse team. Washburn was a first team NFHCA All-American and Capital Athletic Conference Field Hockey Player of the Year as a senior. At Trinity, she will be pursuing a master's degree.
