NEW BRITAIN — The texts, the emails, the phone calls have mounted the past few days, mounted, unfortunately, faster than wins in recent seasons at Central Connecticut.
"I haven't looked at any of them, listened to any of them," Howie Dickenman said Saturday after Central fell to Wagner 83-57 at Detrick Gymnasium. "I didn't want to, simple as that."
Dickenman wants to wait, maybe until after his last game next Saturday at home against Fairleigh Dickinson. He wants to do it right. He wants reply to each person with a phone call or private message to let them know how appreciative he is.
