Pancake Thomas Scores 38, But Hartford Falls At New Hampshire

Pancake Thomas was nearly unstoppable for the University of Hartford, but New Hampshire controlled the paint and took an 84-71 victory in an American East men's basketball game Sunday in Durham, N.H.

Thomas single-handedly tried to keep Hartford (7-14, 2-4) in the game, scoring a career-best 38 points, making 12 of 17 field goals, 4 of 7 three-pointers and converting 10 of 12 free throws. He only turned the ball over once. He joins former NBA All-Star Vin Baker as the only Hartford players with more than one game with 35 or more points.
