NEW BRITAIN — The Central Connecticut backfield was always going to bear watching this season. When last season ended, so did the record-setting, three-year career of Rob Hollomon, the program's all-time leading rusher. From Hollomon's shadows and into the spotlight stepped junior Brenden Lytton, the would-be focal point of second-year coach Pete Rossomando's plan for a run-heavy offense.
