A torn ligament in his right knee forced tailback Lamont Brown III to sit out 12 of Morgan State’s 13 games last season and the team’s run to a share of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championship and first-round contest in the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs. This summer, the redshirt junior is running like he was never injured at all. Brown, the Bears’ leading rusher in 2013 and starter in 2014 who gained 124 yards and one touchdown in a season-opening 31-28 loss at Eastern Michigan on Aug. 30, is running and cutting with the same authority and decisiveness he displayed before, and Brown agreed that he is playing with little hesitation. ...
