Michigan coach Harbaugh opens media day by honoring Ditka

CHICAGO The Big Ten media days are a steady diet of the same stuff at the podium, one coach after another vaguely answers questions. Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh changed that up a bit Friday morning, back in the city where he started his professional football career, when asked about his relationship with his Chicago Bears coach Mike Ditka, for whom he played in 1987-92. "I had a chance to spend the evening with Coach at his restaurant. Diane (Ditka's wife) was there, (my wife) Sarah was there, it was special to be with my coach," Harbaugh said.
