Nine games into the season, the UConn men are still searching for identity, what they do well, what their trademarks can be.
The loss to Syracuse this week didn’t shed a lot of light on the positives, but the Huskies got some intriguing looks from Eric Cobb and Mamadou Diarra in the front court.
“I feel like we complement each other,” Diarra said. “He’s not as athletic, so I can play underneath a little more. He can operate, use his body more. The way we play, we’re not alike, so when you put us together we can play off each other.”
