Villanova Coach Andy Talley Has Fond Memories Of Connecticut

With a national championship in its back pocket and a long tenure in a healthy conference, Villanova was primed for football transition. It was during the chaotic days of conference realignment when it became clear football was the lifeblood in college athletics. Villanova, the 2009 Football Championship Subdivision (Division I-AA) national champion, had a conference path to big-time football as the Big East seemed poised to hold a spot for its longtime member.
