Missouri senior running back Russell Hansbrough, who suffered a sprained right ankle on the second offensive snap of the season, has been ruled out for the Connecticut game at 11 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
Hansbrough has been limited to seven carries for 38 yards in the Tigers' first two games, wins against Southeast Missouri and at Arkansas State.
He only played one snap after the first quarter in a 27-20 win last weekend against the Red Wolves.
Hansbrough was Missouri's leading rusher with 1,084 yards and 10 touchdowns last season.
