HARTFORD — Stanley Robinson is looking to move on to a more lucrative basketball career. But first, he's polishing things up here in Connecticut.
"I'm just trying to get in shape, and be more consistent," said Robinson, who helped UConn reach the Final Four in 2009, "I could always shoot, but now I'm showing it."
Robinson was on the floor for all but the last few minutes and scored 24 points in the Pauly Chute Slamm's 111-94 victory over Deron Freeman All-Stars in the first game of the Greater Hartford Pro Am, which returned to Hartford on Wednesday night.
