Going To Work (Overtime): Pistons Top Wizards 115-110.
After 11 NBA seasons, Richard Hamilton knows his days as an elite scorer are probably over. He's still capable of lighting things up on occasion, though. Hamilton scored 12 of his 27 points in overtime in the Detroit Pistons' 115-110 victory over the...
  • Back to the future with Rose

Back to the future with Rose
All better. Derrick Rose returned, and everything was right in the Chicago Bulls’ world. Well, right enough, anyway. Rose looked out of rhythm early after missing the previous five games because of problems brought on by an earlier toe injury....

Bulls wait on 'Rip,' should be moving on Howard
While the Bulls wait for word on Richard Hamilton’s latest injury, I have two words for them: Dwight Howard. The Bulls waited most of the season for Hamilton to get healthy, and now they’re waiting for that again. Of course they are. I...

Bulls give us some fun, even if it means little
Maybe it’s me, but these last two weeks or so have to be one of the most entertaining runs during a post-Michael Bulls season that I can remember. Not just entertaining and fun, but remarkable. I mean, the Bulls set a franchise record for defense...

The Bulls Should Trade Derrick Rose. Now.
The NBA Playoffs got off to an unfortunate start this weekend with major injuries to key players, including a torn ACL for last year’s MVP. Bulls superstar point guard Derrick Rose suffered a season-ending injury with 1:10 left in the fourth quarter...

How Evan Turner exposed the Bulls
The story of Game 1 between the Bulls and Sixers was, duh, Derrick Rose’s shredding the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, plummeting to the floor, and taking the Bulls’ title hopes with him. But before that, the story was the...
  • Help, I'm kinda defending Boozer

    Help, I'm kinda defending Boozer
I’d like to beat up Carlos Boozer for the Bulls embarrassing loss to Philadelphia in Game 2 of a playoff series that is useless in the big picture and even the small picture. I’d like to beat up Boozer because Boozer is responsible for every...

Bulls fall to 76ers in Game 3
The Philadelphia 76ers took a two games to one lead over the Chicago Bulls in the Eastern Conference quarterfinals with a 79-74 victory at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Carlos Boozer led the Bulls with 18 points, but Joakim Noah left the game...

10 reasons to root for a Bulls loss (chant with me: 'Am-nes-ty, am-nes-ty, am-nes-ty')
With the Bulls on the brink of elimination, Richard Hamilton said they have to make it personal, and I’m wondering, why didn’t that start after Game 2? The Bulls got torched in that second half the last time they played in the United Center....

Teel Time: Kentucky's Davis, Kansas' Robinson give title game rare meeting of All-Americans
Kentucky’s Anthony Davis and Kansas’ Thomas Robinson have graced college basketball throughout this season, and tonight is their parting gift: a rare collision of consensus first-team All-Americans in the national championship game. This...

Club patron throws object at Drake at V Live, Amber Tamblyn appearing at Printer's Row, 'Boss' films at The Wit
Drake didn’t head straight to his next tour stop like some artists do after his show Saturday at First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in Tinley Park. The “Best I Ever Had” rapper kept the party going in the Chicago-area that night an the...
