Amida Brimah didn’t score a point Tuesday, but he didn’t need to.
Coming off the bench and contributing six rebounds, two blocks and a steal, Brimah helped the Austin Spurs to a 98-76 win over Raptors 905, clinching a G League championship.
Brimah spent four years at UConn, averaging 6.7 points and 4.5 rebounds over his career. But he was able to improve skillwise in his first year in the developmental league. There, he averaged 6.6 points and 7.4 rebounds. along with 2.6 blocks.
Brimah posted a photo on Instagram after the win holding the trophy and announced he’d be headed to Serbia to play for KK Partizan Belgrade.
