Assessing UConn Men's First Exhibition Game, And 5 Things We Learned

STORRS — Omar Calhoun's career at UConn has hit a number of setbacks, mostly injuries that have sometimes kept him off the court since the 2012-13 season when he was one of the top freshman in the Big East.

Now he is a senior and the influx of talented freshman and transfers is going to make minutes scarce. Calhoun scored 11 points in 18 minutes Sunday in the 88-72 victory over the University of Tampa in the exhibition opener.
