On The Fly: UConn Field Hockey Team Advances To National Final

The UConn field hockey team is heading back to the national championship game after a 2-1 overtime shootout win over North Carolina Friday afternoon in Louisville. It was déjà vu all over again as UConn beat North Carolina in 2013 in a semifinal shootout and went on to win its first national title since 1985. “[UNC coach] Karen [Shelton] and I always say we love playing this game,” UConn coach Nancy Stevens said. “She doesn’t want to lose, I don’t want to lose.
