UNCASVILLE — Anne Donovan's first head coaching job in professional basketball was with the Philadelphia Rage in the ABL, a job she held for one season (1997-98) before the league disbanded, sending much of its personnel into the burgeoning new world of the WNBA. "Yep, I jumped from college to the ABL, just in time for the league to go under," Donovan said. "But I found that I loved it [coaching]. Once I made the leap, I knew things would work out for me."
