After the Minnesota Lynx were defeated by Los Angeles in the WNBA Finals in 2016, Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve sat star center Sylvia Fowles down, and in the nicest way possible, told her she needed to be a more of a force on offense.

For an Olympian about to begin her 10th season in the league, one who had regularly been honored by the league for her defensive play and shot blocking, the demand might have seemed a bit harsh.
