Basketball tourney draws mix of players

The Plainfield Panthers youth basketball program has undergone some dramatic changes and it's only in its second year. The team changed its name to the Plainfield Panthers GC team because co-founder Gerald "Jerry" Campbell died of pancreatic cancer after the summer season last year. The other co-founder, Abdullah Hanif, said Campbell had once played basketball with legend Magic Johnson and coached NBA guard Rajon Rondo.
