UNCASVILLE — Wearing orange and blue on the practice court of the Connecticut Sun, Morgan Tuck cut a new but readily identifiable figure this week.
One of UConn's three first-team All-Americans, Tuck became the third pick in the WNBA draft, taken by the Sun on April 14. Since then, her life has been spinning in a decidedly new direction.
Instead of playing a veteran role on the nation's top college basketball team, she is in the midst of the massive youth movement for a team that hasn't made the playoffs since 2012.
And she is wearing a different number (33), one she has taken since her customary No. 3 is worn by veteran center Kelsey Bone.
