NEW YORK — Fresh off that championship run with UConn in 2011, Kemba Walker became the face of a franchise the moment Charlotte drafted him.
But after his rookie season, that face resembled the team's owner, Michael Jordan, as in the "Crying Jordan meme" that has become so popular on the web. Charlotte was 7-59 for the worst winning percentage in NBA history (.106).
"It was a rough start to my NBA career," Walker said. "Especially coming off a great year [in college] and then winning seven games. To be a part of this is really cool, to be able to be the one that's helped change the organization around is pretty cool."
