The Huskies came into the game on Wednesday night looking to put two halves together.
"We always want to come out and have a 'kill' mindset, get three stops in a row," coach Kevin Ollie said this week. "If you look at our last three games, you see the shooting percentages in the first half, and in the second half …"
The Huskies had a solid first half shooting at Central Florida on Feb. 11, shooting 43.3 percent, but improved to 45.5 as the Knights threatened a comeback. In the win over Memphis on Feb. 16, the Huskies shot 33.3 percent in the first half, including 2-for-12 on three pointers. In the second half, they shot 54.2 percent, and 5-for-9.
