Stackhouse gets back into NBA as Raptors assistant

Dwane Casey remembered Jerry Stackhouse from his days with the Dallas Mavericks. The former Detroit Piston had landed in Dallas and helped the Mavericks reach the NBA Finals in 2006. Casey was an assistant coach under former Piston coach Rick Carlisle in 2008-09. Casey and Stackhouse were reunited last week when the Toronto Raptors coach named Stackhouse as an assistant coach, joining Rex Kalamian and Andy Greer. "I am pleased to add Rex, Andy and Jerry to our coaching staff," Casey said in a prepared statement.
