In a pivotal week, UConn has defined itself as a group of fighters. But the win they needed Saturday to begin redefining their season just slipped through their grasp.

Staying in the game despite an even thinner bench than they've had, with foul trouble forcing their hands on defense, the Huskies nevertheless stayed even with Ohio State.
