Marlins drop another ugly one to Mets, 11-3

A two-week stretch in which little has gone right for the Miami Marlins has hit a new low.

The Marlins lost to the New York Mets, 11-3, on Saturday at Citi Field, their ninth loss in 11 games. They made three errors, walked seven batters and collected one hit in seven attempts with runners in scoring position.

“We’re trying to put a win on the board right now,” manager Don Mattingly said. “However that is, however we get to that.”
