Errors outweigh power as Cardinals fall, 6-4

ST. LOUIS Two errors by second baseman Kolten Wong complicated matters for the Cardinals, both times costing them double plays that would have limited the damage, and overwhelmed some rare signs of power in what turned out to be a 6-4 loss to the Marlins on Sunday at Busch Stadium. Carlos Martinez allowed five runs, but four of them were unearned. The Marlins scored four times in the fifth inning to break the game open, but none of them would have happened if Wong had fielded a ground ball hit straight to him by catcher Jeff Mathis, which looked like a sure double play.
