Grichuk lifts Cardinals to win in 13th inning against Reds

CINCINNATI The daily jumble of names that Cardinals manager Mike Matheny puts together for his lineup haven't had much success sustaining offense, but a few flickers of power were enough Tuesday to nourish the offense. Five innings after Matt Carpenter tied the game against the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday, outfielder Randal Grichuk won it, 4-3, with his solo shot in the 13th inning. Seth Maness pitched two scoreless innings to earn the win and then secure it with a perfect 13th.
