Phillies romp over reeling Braves, 9-3

PHILADELPHIA Williams Perez rejoined the Braves rotation Friday after a month on the disabled list, and it didn't take long for the rookie's previously unblemished record and sub-3.00 ERA to be overwhelmed by the rough seas that the Braves season has become. Perez was charged with nine runs and failed to make it out of the fifth inning of a 9-3 loss against Philadelphia at Citizens Bank Park, the eighth loss in nine games for the Braves and their moribund offense.
