Young Yard Goats Poised For Next Step On Road To Major Leagues

At each of his professional baseball residences, Peter Lambert has been the kid, at least three years younger than the average player in the league.

“That doesn’t intimidate me at all,” said Lambert, who will pitch for the Hartford Yard Goats this season. “I’m not going to use my age as an excuse. To me, age doesn’t matter in professional baseball, whether you’re 15 or 35 we’re all here trying to get to the same place.”
