Josh Tomlin's reunion with father for Game 3 start a 'pretty neat' moment

Josh Tomlin is excited just to see his father again. To have him in the stands at Wrigley Field for Game 3 of the World Series is all the more special.

The Indians right-hander said Thursday that his father, Jerry — who was paralyzed from the chest down in August because of a circulation issue near his spinal cord — was on his way to Chicago and would be in attendance as Tomlin tries to give the Indians a 2-1 edge against the Cubs.

"He hasn't been to a game in quite a while, and it wasn't looking like he was going to get to come to a game at all," Tomlin said. "So to have him here and be able to see him is the thing I'm most looking forward to. But...
