    On The Fly: Movie On Boxer Vinny Paz; TSN Award To Kershaw
    Shooting for the movie "Bleed For This," about boxer Vinny Paz, will begin in Rhode Island next month, says the Boston Globe. Paz fought 15 times at Foxwoods and is in the Connecticut Boxing Hall of Fame. He was 50-10 in his career and fought big-time boxers such as Roy Jones, Roberto Duran and Hector Camacho. Paz broke his neck in an auto accident Nov. 12, 1991, and was told he would not fight again. He was back 12 months later and told The Courant in 2004, just before his 50th and final win: ``That's been my greatest accomplishment in life.'' ... Hall of Fame jockey Gary Stevens will be riding in the Breeders' Cup Oct. 31 aboard Sivoliere in the Juvenile Fillies Turf. That will be 14 weeks after a total knee replacement. ... The head of Russian tennis, Shamil Tarpischev, did not use his head when he called the Williams sisters the "Williams brothers." Serena Williams said Thursday that Tarpischev wrote an apology to her and Venus for comments that included they were "scary" to look at. This guy heads an organization? Now that's scary.
