On Thursday it was back to normal, at least in terms of numbers in the Dodgers’ bullpen.
As expected they added a reliever, this time calling up left-hander Daniel Coulombe for the fourth time this season and optioning outfielder Chris Heisey back to triple-A Oklahoma City.
Heisey became a five-year major leaguer during his last stint with the Dodgers and could refuse to go back down and become a free agent. That would require forfeiting the rest of his $2.6-million salary for this season. Heisey has told the Dodgers he would report to Oklahoma City.
