The summary The White Sox won for the first time in their last seven games at Target Field, topping the Twins 6-2 on Tuesday night. Adam Eaton cemented the victory with an RBI double in the eighth inning, pushing the Sox above three runs for the first time in 10 games. At the plate Geovany Soto had RBI singles in the fourth and sixth innings, and Melky Cabrera added another RBI in the seventh against Mike Pelfrey. On the mound Jeff Samardzija allowed two runs on eight hits with one walk and seven strikeouts over seven innings.
