Pillar Gets Timely RBI, Makes Diving Catch; Jays Beat Yanks

TORONTO (AP) — Blue Jays outfielder Kevin Pillar has made his share of sensational catches.

Against the New York Yankees on Tuesday night, Pillar also provided a game-changing hit.

Pillar singled home the go-ahead run in the seventh inning and made a diving catch in center to help the Blue Jays beat the Yankees 4-1 — New York's fifth loss in seven games.

"I feel like it's my job to go out there and help this team," Pillar said. "I haven't really been doing my part offensively, what I feel like I'm capable of doing."
