Pitchers and catchers report in 10 weeks, more than enough time for antsy baseball executives to tinker with their roster. Teams aren't built in December, but they certainly begin to take shape at the annual Winter Meetings.

The gathering in Nashville provided a few big deals but was mostly a week of unfulfilled rumors. There are still plenty of marquee free agents looking for jobs and lots of teams still trying to plug holes — including the teams in our region.
