Reds 7, Cubs 4 The Cubs suffered a late blow before Wednesday’s game when rookie sensation Kyle Schwarber was scratched from the starting lineup because of right rib soreness. Kris Bryant tried to lessen the blow with a two-run, game-tying home run with two out in the bottom of the eighth, but his fielding error at third base with two out in the top of the ninth led to a three-run home run by Joey Votto that has vaulted the Reds to a 7-4 victory. At the plate Schwarber, who is batting .270 with 13 home runs and 38 RBIs in only 48 games, took batting practice under the left field bleachers before he was scratched. Schwarber underwent tests to determine the extent of the ailment....
