DACA Recipients Tell Their Stories

Local social action group Truth and Action in Love and Kindness (TALK) held a conversation about undocumented immigrants on Sept. 11, in the hopes of educating attendees about the real-life struggles being faced, especially in the current political climate.

At the program, called "unDocumented, Living Without Legal Status in the U.S.," three Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program recipients, Camila Bortolleto, Vania Galicia, and Stephanie Marquez, each of whom is a member of Connecticut Students for a Dream, told their stories and fielded questions from the audience.
