Terry Egger named publisher of Philadelphia Media Network

PHILADELPHIA The parent company of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Daily News and named a new publisher Monday Terrance C.Z. "Terry" Egger, an industry veteran who previously led the Cleveland Plain Dealer and St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Egger, 57, takes over Oct. 1 at the Philadelphia region's largest and leading news company, one that, like others across the country, has battled steep slides in circulation and advertising revenue.
