Houston chased Darvish in the fifth, loading the bases with no outs before Singleton lined a double down the right-field line to make it 4-0.

Dominguez followed with a run-scoring single to end Darvish's night in favor of Nate Adcock, who was greeted by Marwin González's RBI single to extend the lead to 6-0. Adduci finally got the Rangers on the scoreboard with a two-out blast in the sixth.
